The Lee County Health Department will be in the multi-purpose giving out annual flu-shots to students who have signed up to get them. It was supposed to take place on October 11, 2018, but unfortunately with the damage from Hurricane Michael the flu-shots have been moved to October 25, 2018 in the same place and will be on a Thursday.

The amount of students signed up is almost the same amount as last year, which is a whopping 42 out of 1,391 students.

Kristi Bothwell (faculty) said “I wish we had more people, but I hope they get their shots, because this is very serious.”

Austin Massey (12) said “I don’t know, my parents filled out the paperwork and I don’t want to be sick.”

Massey said “I don’t care for [needles,] but if it has to be done, it has to be done.”
