FBLA kicked things off with their first meeting on September 25th. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the officers of the club, talk about future plans and inform new members about what FBLA is about.

“I think the first meeting was very successful,” FBLA officer Nancy Ho (12) said. “Not only were the officers able to share insight on their experiences at region, state and nationals; we were also able to convey what it means to be an FBLA member; and the fun activities, field trips and amazing memories members will make in our chapter and this organization.”

Ho is an officer, more specifically a parlimentarian. She is responsible for running the rules of the chapter and making sure everyone is following them.

Aside from the information, the meeting also included snacks and drinks for the attendees, reminding them that FBLA is more than a business club, it is a family that can have fun as well as prepare members for the job force.
