The Trojans traveled to Warner Robins to take on the Houston County Bears. It was the first region game of the season and a lot of energy was built up before going into the game. The Houston County had one of the best student sections in Georgia named, The Hoco Locos. They were known for their crazy antics and being able to throw off their opponents during pre-game. As the game began to start Houston County had a series driving the ball down the field. The Trojans found a way to stop their momentum and began to drive them back. As the game went on Tiyance Dewberry(12) caught an interception which took momentum and hope from the Houston County Bears.

Dewberry said, “During Hoco’s drive I knew that their was a play that needed to happen to shift the momentum of the game our way. It just so happened that God had put me in position to make a great play on the ball in order to put my team in great field position. After that interception, I knew they weren’t going to test me again.”

The Trojans ended up creating a ton of plays to blowout the Bears 34-0. They are still undefeated and still ranked number 1 in the region.
