The countdown begins! The class of 2019 is counting down their last days of school to prepare for their last Summer together before college. “I am excited to graduate and be able to spend my last summer with my friends.” Haley Owens (12).

It is almost here. The last Summer before college. Only a couple of more months left until everyone moves off and starts their new lives. Everyone has ideas of what to do before they leave, and some create a bucket list. A lot of seniors want to make this the best summer ever and do as much as possible to do that. Some seniors are making bucket list to complete to where they can make it the best summer ever with their best friends.

“I plan to spend most of my time with my friends and hang out with them as much as possible. This might be the last time we are all together.” Carlee Norman (12) said.

Majority of people want to stay at home to spend as much time together as possible before everyone goes their separate ways. Some seniors are wanting to see their friends before they leave, and will spend every day with them. Seniors are going to try to make the best of the time they have left and make more memories so they can remember them when they go off.

“It is sad because we have all grown up together and we are all going our separate ways.” Kady Riddle (12) said.

Many seniors have grown up together and have been with each other from Pre-K. It will be an adjustment for some students going off. Most seniors want to do as much as they can in their hometown before leaving in possibly for good. Most seniors will have to start over and make new friends when they move off so they want to be able to be with their friends that they have grown up with.

“I plan to spend as much time possible with my family because I won’t be able to see them as often when I leave. We might go to the beach this Summer or just go somewhere together to spend time together.” Aubrey Garrett (12) said.

It will be an adjustment for many seniors to be away from their families and most are going to try to make the best of it and go on vacations with their families. They only have so long and they will not just be down the hallway anymore, they will be away at college.

2,160 days of school. From Pre-K to 12th grade. It is coming to an end, and it is the last Summer before college.
